To coincide with the Converses’ 110 year anniversary, the Converse Compendium is the definitive guide that details Converses’ iconic rise.

Beginning with the brands early years as a rubber-sole manufacturer, the compendium outlines the brands development to a high-tech sports performance shoe that pioneered celebrity and sports endorsements, through to more turbulent times, which saw the brand become an inadvertant symbol of individuality that has been adorned by the creative sub-cultures.

The compendium also begins to catalogue the brands 110 year product range, highlighting key figure heads such as Jack Purcell and Chuck Taylor – whilst also embracing the creative customisation that is so intrinsic to the brand.
